Sourdough Pizza Crust

      A STAPLE IN MY HOME         YEALDS 4 PIZZAS (SCALE REQUIRED) TIP: BEST TO START EARLY OR NIGHT BEFORE INGREDIENTS:  100 G starter 10 G Salt  375 G WARM WATER  500 G AP FLOUR COMBINE: REST FOR 30 mins after combined with a plastic cover or towel over the bowl. PERFORM STRETCH and FOLDS every 30 MINS for about 2 Hours. (COVER BOWL EACH TIME) Let dough rest until bubbly in WARM area of your house.  Dump onto floured surface & cut into 4 equal pieces. shape all 4 pieces into round dough balls  Place Each Dough Ball into separate dishes (OILED)  Refrigerate.  (DOUGH LASTS 3 DAYS IN FRIDGE) Let dough rest for 1 hour at room temp before baking (VERY IMPORTANT) BAKE AT 500 for 12 - 15 MINS or until nice and GOLDEN on crusts.

Sweet Autumn Chili

  Welcoming the Cold Months 



                   When the North Wind makes its way to the swamp lands, it is known not to last very long. Therefor not a moment goes to waste. New days are spent foraging for firewood and scavenging soft blankets from the top of the hallway closet. The afternoon rolls in, and before company rolls in for the warmth of the first fire, the kitchen becomes a very busy room. There comes a time for a good bowl of chili and this Carrot Cake Sweetie Original is one is one for the chili cook offs.

What You'll Need

  • 3 lbs. Ground Turkey
  • 1 Can of Chili Beans 
  • 1 Can of Dark Red Chili Beans
  • 1 tsp of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. All Spice
  • 3 tsp. brown sugar 
  • 1 Medium Can of Tomato Sauce
  • 5 tsp. Ketchup
  • 5 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 onions diced
  • 2 green bell peppers diced
  • 4 tsp. chili powder

        Sweet Sweet Directions:

1. In a Large and in charge Chili Pot, brown your turkey, onions, and bell peppers together until your meat is nice and golden and your onions are nice and soft. *feel free to add a little bit of water* (MEDIUM HEAT)

2. THIS IS THE BEST PART, JUST ADD THE REST!  STIR IT ALL UP!

3.  Allow Your Chili to cook for about 35-40 Minutes, and Boy does your house smell good right about now! 

4. Set the table, light some candles and set out some chips, sour cream, chives, and CHEESE! :)   

5. Enjoy the taste of autumn, around the table or around the fire...and there is always enough for seconds!
